Projects SUM

SUM is a collaboration between Lyttelton based artists and friends Marie Le Lievre and Emma Walsbanks. It portrays a day in the life of a painter {Le Lievre} whose studio is part of her home and garden and whose practice is part of everyday routines, thoughts and artistic experiments . It captures physical textures, space, labour, mood and light that relate to the emotional quality of Le Lievre's paintings in a beautful painterly and layered filming and editing that Wallbanks is known for in her art.
